Procopio Education attorneys Greta Proctor and Merrick Wadsworth are providing California charter schools a special, one-time-only complimentary Title IX training by webinar on January 31, 2024, in partnership with CCSA. 

This training is tailored to meet the federal requirements that apply to charter schools when handling reports and formal complaints of sexual harassment in their educational programs. The training is 90 minutes, and the cost to attend is complimentary for up to three individuals per CCSA-member school. All attendees will receive a copy of the presentation materials to post to their website, as well as Procopio’s updated Title IX checklist to help your school cross-check for compliance.

As a reminder, all schools that receive any federal funds are required to comply with Title IX. The latest Title IX regulations require schools to have updated Title IX grievance procedures in place for sexual harassment, train team members to serve in the required Title IX roles, and more.
