Guillermo is a U.S. international tax attorney advising global families, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, international artists, and privately held multinational companies on complex cross-border tax and wealth structuring matters. His practice focuses on U.S. international tax, inbound and outbound planning, multigenerational wealth preservation, and the structuring of global investments and operations.
Guillermo designs and implements tax-efficient structures for international investments, business expansion, and long-term wealth planning. He counsels multinational families and globally mobile individuals on foreign income, pre-immigration planning, expatriation, and global mobility, as well as cross-border trust and entity structuring, international estate and gift tax matters, and compliance and reporting obligations.
With experience in U.S.–Mexico tax planning, Guillermo advises clients navigating both legal systems and coordinates U.S. income, gift, and estate tax rules with foreign regimes to preserve wealth, optimize tax outcomes, and support international operations.
He is admitted to practice only in California; he is not admitted to the D.C. Bar. His practice is limited to matters and proceedings before the U.S. Internal Revenue Service under D.C. Court of Appeals Rule 49(c)(2).
