Overview

Jean is a complex litigation attorney who represents companies in high-stakes commercial and intellectual property disputes. Her practice spans trade secret, trademark, patent, data privacy, and technology driven litigation. Jean regularly advises in-house counsel and business stakeholders on dispute risk, early case strategy, and resolution pathways. She has successfully defended clients in arbitration, secured favorable resolutions of commercial disputes to protect brand value, and litigated matters through trial. Her experience includes class action defense, data breach response and investigations, trial preparation, and management of large-scale e-discovery. Before joining private practice, Jean served as in-house intellectual property counsel, where she partnered directly with international business and product teams on IP enforcement, licensing, and compliance. Jean is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is fluent in Korean and conversational in Japanese.
