July 2, 2025 (San Diego) – Procopio Corporate Partner Jason Femrite has joined the AmLaw 200 firm’s Management Committee after being elected by the partnership. He fills a vacancy that brings the committee to five members. Based in Procopio’s Del Mar Heights office, Jason has led several practice and industry groups at the firm and most recently served as co-leader of Procopio’s Corporate and Tax Team.

I’ve seen up close his dedication to serving his clients and helping Procopio grow and prosper. Jason’s commitment to excellence will serve Procopio well as he assumes this new leadership role.”

Jason co-chairs Procopio’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and leads its Consumer Products and Food & Beverage industry groups. He serves on the Board of Directors of Naturally San Diego and San Diego Sport Innovators and is a former board member of the Association of Corporate Growth.

In his legal practice, Jason represents private and publicly held companies, individuals and investment firms in a wide range of corporate matters from formation to finance, and eventually to exit. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital finance, securities and general corporate matters. Jason’s experience includes the representation of both buyers and sellers in mergers, stock and asset purchases, management buyouts, reorganizations and related transactions. During his 25 years of practice, he has worked on hundreds of transactions and represented companies in a wide range of industries, including life sciences, medical devices, software and online services, consumer products, food and beverage and engineered products.

Other members of Procopio’s Management Committee include Managing Partner Dennis Doucette and Partner Xiaofan “Frank” Yang, both in the firm’s Del Mar Heights office; Partner Enrique Hernandez-Pulido, in Procopio’s downtown San Diego office; and Partner Mindy Morton, in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.
